How a guide is produced
- Define the traveler’s decision. Every guide starts with a real choice, such as Strip versus Downtown, a pool-centered stay, or avoiding a resort fee.
- Collect primary evidence. Policies, fees, amenities, and location details should be checked against the hotel’s official materials or another clearly identified primary source.
- Separate observation from fact. Firsthand experience is labeled as such. Information that was not personally observed is attributed and never presented as a personal stay.
- Compare on consistent criteria. Location, room type, practical access, fees, audience fit, and notable trade-offs are considered where relevant.
- Review before publication. Dates, claims, links, disclosures, and page metadata are checked before a guide goes live.
Authorship and evidence
LasVegasHotels.blog is founded and published by Larry Leonard. Guides carry an accurate byline and link to information about the author or reviewer. A personal stay, inspection, interview, or original photograph is described only when that evidence exists. We do not invent experience, credentials, awards, ratings, or testing.
Facts change
Hotel fees, amenities, ownership, access routes, show schedules, and renovation status can change. Each guide displays a reviewed date and should identify the source and date for details likely to change.
Opinions need reasons
A recommendation explains the traveler it suits, the criteria used, and the trade-offs. Rankings are not sold.
Automation stays accountable
Tools may help organize research, check links, or prepare drafts. A publisher remains responsible for accuracy, usefulness, and final publication.
Corrections stay visible
Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Substantial changes should update the reviewed date and, when useful to readers, include a correction note.
Commercial independence
Affiliate links may generate a commission at no additional cost to the traveler. Commercial relationships do not determine inclusion, wording, or ranking. Affiliate links are labeled, use the appropriate sponsored relationship, and are added only after account attribution is verified.
How to request a correction
Readers, hotels, and subject-matter experts may use the site’s contact page to identify a specific claim and provide supporting evidence. Requests do not guarantee a change; the evidence is reviewed against the same standards used for publication.
