Las Vegas Hotels with Actual Balconies

Balconies are genuinely rare in Las Vegas hotels. Most Strip properties have sealed windows and no outdoor access from rooms — a combination of safety regulations, climate control requirements, and the casino's preference for keeping guests inside. After staying at over 40 Las Vegas properties, I have found only a handful that offer true outdoor balcony or terrace access from guest rooms.

The Cosmopolitan — Terrace Studio$250–$500/night
Private outdoor terrace with fire pit · View: Strip / Bellagio fountains

The best balcony rooms in Las Vegas. A private terrace with a fire pit, lounge seating, and direct views of the Bellagio fountains. Book 3–4 weeks in advance.

Wynn Las Vegas — Select Suites$350–$600/night
Small private balcony · View: Strip and golf course

Select Wynn suite categories include small balconies. Not as spacious as the Cosmopolitan terraces, but the Wynn's service and room quality are exceptional.

Marriott's Grand Chateau$140–$250/night
Private balcony (some units) · View: Strip corridor

Some units in this timeshare-style property have private balconies. One of the best-value balcony options near the Strip.

Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations$100–$200/night
Private balcony (some units) · View: Strip corridor / city views

Some units have balconies. No resort fee, all-suite, on the Strip corridor — excellent value for a balcony room.

Platinum Hotel & Spa$100–$200/night
Private balcony (most units) · View: City views

Most Platinum Hotel suites have private balconies. Adults-only, no resort fee, very peaceful. The best balcony-per-dollar value near the Strip.

Circa Resort (Downtown)$130–$280/night
Select rooms with outdoor access · View: Downtown Las Vegas

Some Circa rooms have outdoor terrace access. The Stadium Swim rooftop pool complex also provides outdoor space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Las Vegas Strip hotels have balconies?

Very few Las Vegas Strip hotels have traditional balconies — most rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that do not open, due to safety regulations and the casino's preference for climate control. The notable exceptions are: The Cosmopolitan (Terrace Studio rooms with private outdoor terraces), Wynn Las Vegas (select rooms with small balconies), Encore at Wynn (some suite categories), and the Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations (some units have balconies). Off-Strip and Downtown properties are more likely to have balconies.

Which Las Vegas hotel has the best balcony rooms?

The Cosmopolitan's Terrace Studio rooms are the best balcony rooms in Las Vegas — a private outdoor terrace overlooking the Strip, with a fire pit and lounge seating. The view of the Bellagio fountains from the terrace is extraordinary. These rooms are in very high demand and book out weeks in advance. Wynn Las Vegas also has select rooms with small balconies, though they are less spacious than the Cosmopolitan terraces.
